The alarm goes off at 9 a.m., after all, we don't want to miss Switzerland's opening game against Ecuador. For a long time the game did not develop in the desired direction. Ecuador takes the lead and the Swiss can't create a lot of dangerous things. Coach Hitzfeld has a very lucky hand with his substitutions. With the last promotion, Switzerland still wins! An enormously important hit. Then we make ourselves comfortable at the beautiful pool area and spend the hot afternoon hours bathing and relaxing.
Towards evening we pack the camera and set off. This time it goes along the northern part of the strip. We march under the recently opened Las Vegas Highroller, with 167m the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. on to the luxurious hotel resorts Wynn with an impressive waterfall. The artificial volcanic eruption at Treasure Island attracted a large crowd, as did the water and light spectacle at Bellagio, accompanied by opera music.
After all, we eat in a steakhouse. Then we go back to the hotel so that we are ready for tomorrow's excursion.
