Vancouver to finish

  • Buy a new camera at the Sony store
  • Bring the second home package to the post office
  • Sipping a happy hour drink at the Cactus Club Cafe
  • Great steak at The Keg

Our last day in North America has already started. Last minute shopping so is trendy. My camera has suffered badly in the last few months. With around 40,000 trips after a good three years, it was also used intensively. It still works, the only question is how much longer. In any case, I want to be on the safe side and decide on the improved one Successor model Sony Alpha 77ii to buy. The purchase would have been cheaper in the USA, but it never happened there. Meanwhile, Niki buys compact travel cosmetics.
Then we bring that Package to the post office. Unfortunately, there is no cardboard box to buy here and we have to look for one. In the end we find what we are looking for at our hotel. The second package is a little cheaper because it is also lighter, but cheap would not be an appropriate term either. But we have no other choice, after all, you don't want to throw everything away right away.

When this hurdle has also been overcome, we march towards it Beach Avenue. On the way we eat a salad roll at a Korean snack. The funny laughing sculptures iNear the sea are a real tourist magnet and we also take our souvenir pictures. Out in the sea you can see some huge cargo ships, on the coast the bright yellow foliage contrasts with the blue of the sky. At the end we treat ourselves to one Happy hour drink at the in-restaurant Cactus Club Cafe. We march a bit through the city before we get to the The Keg Steakhouse enjoy a fantastic final meal. The New York Steak (truly The King of Steaks!) Is a really worthy end to this unforgettable time in North America. Then go to bed early.
