- Boat excursion in Paraty Bay
- Watch sea turtles from the board
- Bathing on heavenly beaches
It starts early today. We have breakfast and march to the port. Before that we buy a little food for the day. At the front of the water is the landmark Paratys, the magnificent Igreja de Santa Rita. In front of it is the busy harbor of the town. All kinds of converted sailing ships are waiting here for tourist customers. All ships offer roughly the same program, but differ in size and comfort. We choose one of the smaller ships. We set sail at 11 a.m. The view back of the city is from the calm waters of the Baia de Paraty even more beautiful.
After about an hour we reach our first stopover. You could almost imagine yourself in the Seychelles, a beautiful little island with smooth, rounded rocks awaits us. A real Tropical paradise. As soon as the boat is at anchor we jump into the clear water and swim over to the stand. Unfortunately, more boats will follow soon, but the crowd is still bearable.
After three quarters of an hour we chug on towards our next stop. Here you could rent snorkeling equipment, but the water is a bit choppy and the view is only moderate. So we prefer another bathroom.
On the next passage we eat our food and read. At the next stop, lunch will be served on board, which we did not bring with us. Another short passage later we reach our last bathing bay. We get a lot here Sea turtles to face. Again and again one of the marine reptiles appears briefly to gasp for air. Unfortunately, we don't get to see any closer when swimming.
We arrive at the port of Paraty at around 4 a.m. We'll see each other in the historical center around town before marching back to Sabrina and Gilson. After a shower, we march back to the center where we eat extremely delicious Italian.
