Rain program in Paraty

  • Enjoy the view from Morro do Forte
  • Relaxation at the cozy Praia do Jabaquara
  • Another tour through the Centro Historico of Paraty

Today we really sleep in again. We talk to Martin and Jemma one last time. Today the two of them travel on towards Ubatuba and then to Buenos Aires, where they want to study Spanish for a month, at the start of their one-year trip through South and Central America. I follow the historic DavisCup triumph of the Swiss men in the live ticker.

Another comfortable, but unfortunately cloudy day awaits us before we will continue our journey tomorrow. We're marching towards Morro do Forte From where we enjoy the view of the town and the tropical vegetation. The museum there is currently closed for renovations. Despite the cloudy sky, it is extremely humid today, so that both of us will soon be really wet. On the other hand, the cozy one awaits us Praia do Jabaquara. We read something and drink coffee and beer in a nice beach lounge. Tourists try their hand at stand-up paddling and kayaking in the bay. Later we make our way back with a detour through historical center Paratys.

We try a Gabriela drink at one of the stalls. But be careful, the cachaça mixed drink is pretty strong! Niki buys original ceramic ear studs and we stroll through the cozy old town. Then we simply dine at one of the per kilo restaurants before we finally make our way back.

After another conversation with our nice hosts, we watch a movie in bed.
