So this evening begins a new chapter in our journey. At 11 o'clock at night we are going to from Rio de Janeiro Cuiaba to fly. The big city was one of the World Cup equipment cities and is the starting point for tours into North Pantanal. And that is exactly our goal.

Again we enjoy the beautiful day with lots of sunshine. The water is still rougher today and, above all, quite cooler than it was yesterday. Bathing is only really fun for a short time.
Then it's about time ours Packing things and vacate our room. We also see Lucy briefly and say goodbye to her too. While Niki is updating her blog, I use the time to skype with Reto, my parents and our tour organizer. Then there is just enough time to go out to eat. The per-kilo restaurant around the corner is just the thing for this purpose.
