Sweet idleness in Punta Arenas

For once, a kind of rest day and idleness is on the program today. Well, not entirely voluntarily, but there was no bus to El Calafate available for today and there isn't too much going on in Punta Arenas on Sundays. But not too bad, after all, we both got a little behind with the blog and can use the time well in other ways.

Only shortly after 5 a.m. the stomach growls and we march the short distance to the central one Plaza Munoz Gamares. We browse the few souvenir stands that are open and watch the goings-on at the Ferdinand Magallan statue.
