- A guest in colorful La Boca
- Tour of the shops and colored shops of El Caminito
- Boca Juniors shirt bought
Slept a little longer than last, then we read a bit and Niki uses the time to skype. Then we take the bus in the direction of the La Boca working-class district. The bus drives through sometimes dingy-looking residential areas to the lively one Caminito. It says here colorful painted corner house, the classic postcard subject of La Boca. A number of other houses are creatively painted in predominantly red, blue and yellow tones. The streets of the quarter are on Saturdays popular destination by tourists and locals. Numerous shops, cafes, restaurants, dealers, artists and of course tango dancers can be seen.
We eat a salad in one of the cozy restaurants before we continue our tour of discovery. A jersey is an almost obligatory souvenir Boca Juniors, the district's world-famous football club. Of course, the asphalt soccer field with spayed walls for promoting young talent should not be missing. Meanwhile, Niki buys more leather goods for the family. In the late afternoon we make our way back.
After a shower, we look for a suitable restaurant where we get a huge portion of delicious tuna. Then we go to a bar not far from the hostel. Otherwise, the nightlife of Buenos Aires seems to be limited to other parts of the city.
