- Flight with Amaszonas from Trinidad to Rurrenabaque
We enjoy the night in a comfortable bed and have breakfast in the hotel. Both use the time to write a diary and to look through the pictures of the last two days. Unfortunately, Niki can't find her lenses anymore, so we march back to the travel agency to see if anything was found there. The only news here is that our Flight delayed three hours will have. After a walk through the city center of Trinidad, we use the extremely sluggish internet connection in the hotel again before we start with the Taxi to the airport drive.
Better too early and waiting there is our motto in Bolivia you just never know. After checking in the luggage, we spend the waiting time in a restaurant with a delicious fruit shake. At 5 p.m. the time has finally come! We let the security checks pass us through and we can do them small propeller machine of the airline Amaszonas climb. There is only room for 18 people inside! Unfortunately, the windows are extremely cloudy, so that despite a window seat we can hardly see down to the Amazon province of Beni.
After about 40 minutes we land on the bumpy runway at Rurrenabaque. Welcome to the jungle! The next tourists are already waiting for take-off right next to the runway. We are taken to the terminal building in a mini bus - if you can put it that way. We are already being seized by tour operators and taxi drivers. In the city we are then accommodated in the cheap hostel Los Tucanos. Soon afterwards we take a tour of the inviting town and dine deliciously at one of the few typical Bolivian restaurants.
