At 10 a.m. we start our city tour. First we go up with the yellow gondola Mirador in El Alto. From up here we enjoy the spectacular view of the almost completely built-up area La Paz Basin and the towering Andes in the background.

Then we continue to torture our way through the traffic chaos in the direction of Valle de La Luna. These bizarre landscapes on the outskirts, created by the elements, are the remnants of a once larger area. But part of the Wonderland made from clay formations much to the hunger for building land.

We drive back to the center, where we come to the great viewpoint Mirador Killi Killi stop within the city and take some pictures. One after the other it continues with the Calle Jaen, the only street in La Paz in the time-honored colonial style with many brightly painted magnificent buildings.

At the Plaza Murillo waiting for more information about the important surrounding buildings before we start the tour with another visit at Witch market break up. We use the rest of the afternoon to take another walk through the center before going back to the hotel early.
