The capital of the Inca empire Cusco is waiting, that's why we start this morning too. At 8 o'clock we climb it luxurious bus from Transzela and the choppy ride on the partly moderate road can begin. over Juliaca we drive north on the Altiplano. We use the time to read, write a diary, sort pictures and do accounting.
At one of the stops, a great panorama and Naturally numerous souvenir stands invite you to shop. Shortly before our destination, the bus has some problem and can only continue very slowly. We arrive at the bus station in Cusco almost an hour late. We take a taxi to the Casa Inn hostel and move into our simple double room in a good location. After the long bus ride, we treat ourselves to a shower first. When it is already dormant, we march towards Plaza de Armas. Even now at night you can see which impressive colonial buildings the city has to offer. On the way there is something to eat in an Asian snack bar. Then we made another deal with the Israelis to have a drink in a salsa bar.
