- Packing and saying goodbye to Reto and Reto
- Drive to Calgary International Airport
- drive back to Carl and Judy alone
- In the evening a guest at the classy Stampede Party at Carreys
At 10 o'clock we get up again today, although none of us really feel like it. It applies to showering and packing, especially for my two companions. After the groege and I have showered, sewage runs out in the basement. Probably because Carl, Judy, Aaron and Rebecca (the New Zealand couple who temporarily live with Richards) have already showered. In any case, of course, everything has to be brought dry and dried.
The two say goodbye to Carl and Judy and off we go through the big city chaos to the International Airport of Calgary. Since we get there too early, we let the time pass in a restaurant. Then it's time to say goodbye again, which doesn't seem easy to anyone. The next time we can let it rip together, we won't be able to do it until the end of April 2015.
I drive back to Carl and Judy, take a rest and update my blog. When the air has cooled down a bit towards evening we get ready to go to the pompous Stampede Party of the rich Carrey family. The property alone out here in the green suburbs of the city is a feast for the eyes. Let us surround the house with a private 9-hole golf course and the magnificent wooden house is sealed in a large pond. Here I also meet Dad's old flatmate Dave Morgan and the two hosts Anita and Frank Carrey. I get into conversation with some of Carl and Judy's old colleagues and spend an entertaining evening. In addition, everyone can eat at the really delicious buffet and listen to the various live bands. Even a classical orchestra performs. However, I am still tired from the two previous nights and go home with Carl and Judy at 11 a.m.
