We're taking it easy after yesterday's long evening. First we write
Diary from the previous day, buy bus tickets online and reserve a hotel for the onward journey to Trujillo.
When the stomach growls, we walk to the nearby one LarcoMar Center and eat at the food court. Then we rattle off various banks, as we should slowly start increasing our USD reserves for the detour to the Galapagos Islands, after all you can only pay there in cash. At Bank BBVA we can withdraw a whopping 600 USD per withdrawal, but unfortunately our Travelcash card doesn't work here again! So the normal Maestro card has to serve.
Back at the hotel we read something and then we have already arranged to meet our Israeli travel friends Yotam and Maayan. With a drink we decide to go to the exclusive La Bistecca buffet restaurant to go. But the restaurant is really worth every penny and only serves the best for the equivalent of around 25 CHF, still cheap! We'll fill our bellies full and spend an entertaining evening, because we've had a lot to tell each other since our last meeting in Cusco.
