Morning fog, yellow colored larches, deciduous trees that slowly but surely lose their leaves and the first frost offer a variety of great photo opportunities.
In the Alpine region, the needles of the European larch (Larix decidua) yellow during the short but incredibly colorful golden October. Often there are a few last warm days at this time: the Indian summer. A great subject that a nature and landscape photographer like me can't get enough of.
This in particular is famous throughout Switzerland for this Engadine, but also areas in the Valais and other Alpine regions with occurrences of larch will then change color spectacularly.
