The United States of America, USA for short, are that third largest and third most populated country on earth. On this gigantic area there is an enormous amount of fascinating, diverse natural landscapes, iconic megacities and some places steeped in history. The 48 contiguous contiguous United States (often called Lower 48) plus Alaska and Hawaii as well as smaller outlying areas in the Pacific and the Caribbean make up the 50 US states of United States of America. Below are my best pictures from all of my USA trips.

Legendary American cities

New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, Washington, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Denver, Seattle ... these are the names of the most important American cities. Many with iconic buildings and skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building in NYC, the Getty Museum in LA or the Space Needle in Seattle. They all offer typical USA photo motifs.

California - the Golden State

There is hardly a region that symbolizes the American dream like that los Angeles with his dream factory Hollywood. Dem Highway # 1 to the north follows the wild and romantic coastline of Big Sur. The legendary gambling metropolis Las Vegas is in the middle of the desert, surrounding some of the most spectacular landscapes on our planet. The closest - already in the neighboring state of Arizona - is that Grand Canyon National Park of the Colorado River with breathtaking views.

Arizona has a number of other impressive sights, desert landscapes and buildings of the Navajo Indians, which turn out to be great photo spots. In addition to the picture-perfect western landscape of Monument Valleys, are mainly der Canyon de Chelly, the Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River as well as numerous Slot canyons like that Antelope Canyon at Page extremely worth seeing.

Yellowstone & the Rocky Mountains

The Yellowstone is mostly for its geothermal springs like geysers and mud pots, as well as for his Wildlife like bison, grizzly bears, and wolves famous. The modern one Seattle is on Puget Sound with a view of the striking Mount Rainier. Main sights are the futuristic one Space Needle in the middle of the striking Sykline, the Boeing works and the Pike Place Market.
